Professional Non-Structural Concrete Services

This review is long overdue but I'm squeezing in time to write it because Adam and his team at Desert Pavers and Design did an exceptional job on installing pavers in our backyard and through 2 gate entryways that connected my backyard to the front yard. I had a positive experience with this company from the beginning of the free consultation to the completion of our project, and the results are beautiful...it's been 5 months now and everything is still holding up and looking nice! I've learned to do my research first before deciding which company to hire to do these expensive projects. I received 5 bids from licensed & bonded 5 star companies only and it was obvious we should go with Desert Pavers and Design. The estimate was not the cheapest and it was not the most expensive, but it was fair and reasonably priced. The total project time and quality of workmanship was totally worth the money spent. Adam, who is the owner, personally came out to my property, was professional yet personable, measured the areas himself and gave me some ideas on what to do with my backyard since I needed to get rid of a lot of old uneven brick pavers and lots of gravel rocks. I also needed to transform two areas that had a high door threshold step into a gradual slope to be wheelchair accessible and meet ADA standards. Adam was the only contractor I spoke to that had experience installing paver ramps and could show me a video and photo of what that gradual ramp would look like. It was difficult to even see an example of what a paver ramp would look like online so it was reassuring to see that Adam and his team had previously done this. I realized Adam wasn't just strictly business and actually cared about his clients because I had asked him about a questionable dying palo verde tree in my front yard and he took the time to inspect the tree since he does a lot of landscaping work, too. Even though he didn't know the answer, he followed up 2 days later with an email after consulting with a friend of his that works in a nursery. Not too many people would do that. Throughout this project, Adam worked closely with my husband and me to get our desired hardscape design. He was so patient and really worked with our budget and what we envisioned our yards to look like. Since we were able to give away our old brick pavers to someone else and did not require Desert Pavers and Design to demo them, Adam gave us a discount and, as a result, we could add more square footage to our project. Adam changed our invoice about 4 times because we kept adding more to the project. Not only is Adam patient, but he has integrity and stands by his word. We were short pavers but Adam did not charge us for them because the measurements were off. That's true professionalism and integrity right there. We're excited to use Desert Pavers and Design again for a second phase in the future and highly recommend Adam and his team if you're looking to install pavers and paver ramps.

Adam and his crew have done another job for us. This job involved installing pavers over an existing side walk and patio. They had to deal with a septic tank plug the original owners had installed the sidewalk over. They took it in stride and did a great job. I’d recommended them highly.

Adam is great to work to throughout the entire backyard renovation. He was always prompt, and set reasonable expectations. He also gave excellent suggestions on the design. I wasn’t really sure what I wanted the backyard to look like and he came up with a really nice design. We had a lot of old travertine that needed to be pulled up and to not only lay new pavers, but installed new sprinkler system, planted a bunch of plants, and lay rock. His crew was amazing as well. Incredibly hard working, and kind. He was priced very well. It’s a terrific and usable space that I will be able to maintain. I plan to work with Adam again and I highly recommend him!
