This was a job that mattered. We partnered with a new assisted living home in Mesa on the phase-one paver installation for their outdoor walkway - and from the start, the goal was simple: build something safe, functional, and built to last for the people who'd be using it every day.

Here's what we were working with before we got started. The ground was raw dirt, uneven, and completely unprepared for foot traffic - let alone wheelchair or walker traffic. We traced out the full path, cut clean borders along both sides, and pulled up the existing gravel where needed to get down to a proper base. That prep work is what makes the difference between a paver job that holds up for years and one that shifts and settles within months.

ADA compliance isn't just a checkbox. It means thinking through every inch - slope, surface texture, transition points, width. For a space like this, where residents rely on being able to move around safely, those details aren't optional. We planned the layout to keep the path wide enough for mobility aids, with a consistent surface that won't catch wheels or cause trips.

The finished walkway runs the full length of the property, with clean curved borders that follow the natural line of the building. The multi-tone pavers give the space a polished look without feeling out of place. It's the kind of work you can feel good about - knowing that what you built is genuinely going to help people move more safely and comfortably through their space.

This is what commercial paver work looks like when it's done right. No shortcuts on the base, no guessing on the grade, and no compromise on the details that matter most. If you have a commercial property in the Mesa or greater Phoenix area that needs hardscape work done to a high standard, this is the kind of crew you want on it.
